Persuasive

We are learning to write persuasive pieces.

We will be able to: 

  • plan using a variety of techniques
  • use graphic organisers to identify the parts of a persuasive piece of writing.
  • list pros or/and cons to support the main thesis.

Ideas:

– Should teachers wear uniform?

– Should  students be allowed to use iPhones and digital devices at school?

– If you were to go on holiday, where is the best place to go?

Narrative

We are learning to write narrative pieces.

We will be able to: 

  • plan using a variety of techniques
  • use graphic organisers to identify the parts of a narrative piece of writing.
